Catching the Abu Dhabi Free Bus Service

...is a nightmare. It's Ramadan, and i have to take the free bus to go to work. Why? because, taxi's usually dont take passengers heading to marina mall from 5pm onwards. If you have to work at six, you should be leaving your place as early as 4pm in order to get to the nearest bus stop and hop into the 4:30 service, if you miss it, then sorry, because the next trip is like 7:20, so you're late. The nightmare does not end there, once you get your seat (if you're lucky) people from different walks of life, starts conversing at their own languages, talking about different topics, some talks about rent increase, some about their loans others about their boss and so much more. It is so irritating specially when you are sweaty wet because of the very humid weather.

So I switch on my mp3 player and listen to the songs that ive downloaded 5 hours ago. hoping that no more passengers will hop in. Im just wondering, why do the driver keeps on getting passengers even though the bus is about to explode. Whew its really jammed pack that you cannot even breath properly because of the very pungent and putrid aroma (hehehe) coming out from the bodies of the ever industrious laborers.

After 45 minutes of gruesome ride, bus no. 32 finally arrived to its destination, Marina Mall. Yehey, people starts to run down from the bus, rushing, and i dont know why, as if the bus will self detonate in 10 seconds and they have to do whatever it takes to save their lives hahaha.

I hope some concerened people from the department of transport will read this blog and add some more bus 32 so everybody using this service will be freed from physical and mental abuse.
